Scott Sterner

Born just walking distance from the Yuengling  Brewery on the actual day of Roe vs. Wade-  Scott is just happy that he got to live long enough to experience his college years at Penn State.   Since he actually survived, he ventured into a professional life that doesn’t forget the importance of playtime- GOLF.   From Walt Disney World to Ritz-Carlton Grande Lake (where he caddied for Michael Jordan 12 times) to Orange Tree, Scott has been a part of the Central Florida Golf Industry since he moved here permanently in 1996 at the conclusion of his memorable WDW College Program internship.

As LoudMouth Golf’s Special Events Director, Scott works very closely with the celebrities, athletes, schools, and high-profile venues that have used LoudMouth Apparel to “raise the volume” of their event, program or overall image.   This gives him plenty of entertaining and original content for  podcasts, videos, and of course-  live broadcasts which he’s been doing since July 2006.

Known as The Orlando Forecaddie (for all of your “On and Off the Grass” needs) since his on-air debut in 2006 with two other Orlando favorites he had to drag to the mic-  Ian Davies  and Rich B of ESPN Radio (who both owe all of their radio success to Scott).  Now, with the new LMG Radio cast of characters and the backing of the coolest apparel brand on Earth, the best years are yet to come.

Mike Colangelo

Mike was born in Orlando, Florida, grew up in the Delaney Park area and attended Boone High School. After high school he accepted a soccer scholarship to play at Spartanburg Methodist College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. After graduating Mike moved back to Orlando and went to work for the Orange County public school system, working as a soccer coach at Boone high school. He was also working as a substitute teacher. After leaving OCPS he went to work for Delta Airlines and then Hyatt Hotels, where he found his passion for customer service and his wife of 13 years Kerri.  Mike worked for Virgin Holidays (A division of Virgin Airlines) for a few years before going to work for Loews Hotes. He joined the Portofino Bay opening team as the Recreation Director, then opened the Hard Rock Hotel. Currently during the day Mike and his wife Kerri own Orlando’s best resale stores, Dechoes Resale.

(DechoesResale.com)  He has 3 pets, an English Bulldog named Mandi, a Boston Terrier Melvin and 1 cat Mr. Pudds.   On air he is known as being “A Man” , mainly because he is teased as being 40.  This is not true.   Don’t worry though, Mike is very quick tongued himself.

Brian Moore

Brian Moore

Meet the newest member of the LoudMouth Radio Crew  Brian “B Money” Moore.  Just like LeBron, he decided to take his talents South to Florida in 2010.  Born in Columbus, Ohio  just outside the hallowed grounds of the Horseshoe,  B Money has played this game since he was five, getting the itch from his grandfather, his only coach.

After high school Brian took a football scholarship to Division II Tiffin University and later transferred to Bowling Green State University where he graduated in 2002.  It was in 2002 in the midst of skipping class his senior year to play golf that B Money got his first job as an assistant golf professional at the Bowling Green Country Club.  After his first shift as an assistant the head pro took him to dinner fed him a good steak and about a dozen shots of tequila and then gave him the keys to the Pro Shop and said, “Congratulations!  You passed the test, now open the shop for me at 6 am”   The rest is history.

Brian has been in the golf business ever since and has held every position from General Manager to bag room attendant.  Brian’s real passion in golf is instruction.  Brian has worked with golfers of all ages and abilities helping beginners an tour players alike.  Currently the Lead Instructor at the OB Sports Golf Academy at Hunter’s Creek Brian is on his way to being one of the top instructors in Central Florida.

You can look forward to hearing B Money give his expert advice on the golf swing and giving you his take on what is happening on the PGA Tour.  Stay tuned as you can watch and listen to B Money as he helps fellow LoudMouth Radio personality Mike Colangelo with his swing on the new segment Breaking 80.

John Daly

John Daly (aka JD) was born in Carmichael, California in 1966. His family moved from California to Dardanelle, Arkansas, when John was five. Dardanelle is where John found and fell in love with the game of golf. Later, John attended Helias High School, in Jefferson City, JohnDaly1Missouri, and was a Letterman in both football and golf. It was golf where he excelled being named the title of Missouri State Champion. John also attended the University of Arkansas, where he was a member of the golf team.

Daly turned professional in 1987, and won the Ben Hogan Utah Classic three years later. His long list of achievements include the 1990 PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year title, being noted as the youngest active player on PGA TOUR with two major championship titles, and becoming the fourth American since World War II to win two majors before his 30th birthday, joining Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, and Johnny Miller.

There is much more to John Daly than just an interest in golf. A songwriter and performer, John has recorded a largely autobiographical album entitled “My Life”, featuring guest performances by Darius Rucker, Willie Nelson, Johnny Lee, and Daron Norwood. JD has released his second album called “I Only Know One Way”, written with Darius Rucker. Remember to catch JD’s new show on the Golf Channel “Being John Daly”.

In addition, John is familiar for his tireless charitable work, including Make-a-Wish Foundation, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Rather than flying, John often drives his RV to many tournaments, further growing his reputation as “a true man of the people”. John recently drove his office to Clearwater, Florida, and joined Belleair Country Club. Belleair is renowned as a course in pristine condition, where John can practice and work on his game. He genuinely enjoys the staff and members of the Belleair Country Club, and is a member of the PGA & European PGA Tour.

John is currently developing a new golf line called “Blue Collar Golf” (just a play away), with other BCG members and entrepreneurs, Ed Droste and Dan Walker. He is also in partnership with the Loudmouth Golf clothing line.
Daly remains as one of the most popular and intriguing figures on the Tour with his driving distance off the tee, his most recent wardrobe and his no-frills philosophy of “grip it and rip it.”

Carling Coffing

On the surface, Carling Coffing comes across as a sweet Midwestern young lady.  Underneath is a tough competitor who has overcome enormous odds to achieve her dream to be a professional golfer.  As she puts it, “ever since I hit my first shank, I knew I wanted to be a professional golfer.”

Coffing was diagnosed with Type I diabetes at five years old.  After years of giving herself dozens of shots every day, she switched to a diabetic insulin pump in 2008, which is connected to her 24 hours a day.  The insulin pump is known affectionately as “Hank the Panc.”  “Hank has become my best friend on the course,” she explains.

Coming from a family with an athletic background (her father was an All-American wrestler), Coffing took up the game of golf while in middle school when her parents purchased a family membership at a nearby nine hole course.  She played with her parents and her two older brothers every day.  “If it was over 32 degrees, we played!” says Coffing.

Coffing’s parents have been her coaches since she took up the game, and have been her source of encouragement and inspiration to make a career out of the game she loves.  Coffing played collegiate golf at The Ohio State University.  After graduating with a communications degree, she turned professional in 2008.  In 2009, with her father serving as her caddy, Coffing made the cut in 13 of 17 Duramed FUTURES Tour events.  She has full status for the 2010 Duramed FUTURES Tour season.

Kurt Barnes

Kurt Barnes

Colourful New South Welshman Kurt Barnes – a John Daly lookalike – leads the Australian contingent after the first round of the British Open after shooting a two-under 68 at Royal St George’s that leaves him only three strokes off the pace.  He didn’t just come out of nowhere though…

He had a successful amateur career which included victories in the 2002 Australian Amateur, the 2003 Riversdale Cup, which he won with a record 22 under par total, and the 2003 New Zealand Amateur Stroke Play Championship. He turned professional at the end of 2003 and joined the PGA Tour of Australasia.

In 2009 Barnes became the first Australian to win on the Omega China Tour, when he claimed victory in the Sofitel Zhongshan IGC Open. He went on to head the tour’s Order of Merit that season, before winning his place on the Japan Golf Tour by finishing first at the tour’s qualifying school.

The 30-year-old from Muswellbrook, who drew extra attention at the 2011 Open Championship by walking the course in LoudMouth’s SweetTooth pants, made a sight of his golf as well with three straight birdies on the back nine to dash up the leaderboard
